Class Ages & Descriptions

We offer classes for ages 6 months to adult, welcoming dancers of all ages and backgrounds. We're passionate about providing accessible dance education, and we've never turned anyone away due to financial constraints.

Ages

All ages are determined by the age of the dancer on the FIRST day of class.

Tinies - we recognize that kiddos hit developmental milestones at unpredictable rates and that some 3 and 4 year olds may not be ready for the Tinies classroom environment. If this is the case, we will suggest the dancer join the Mommy and Me class. If this is not possible, a prorated amount for the classes not yet taken will be credited to the family’s account and the dancer will be able to try class again in the next semester.

  • Mommy and Me - Toddlers (caregiver participation required), and babies (who will be held, moved, or worn during class)

  • Toddlers - 1.5-3 Years

  • Tinies - 3-4 Years

  • Littles - 5-6 Years

  • Junior - 7-9 Years

  • Intermediate - 10-12 Years

  • Art at Jubilee is something special! Laurel Jenkins brings her creative and spiritual call to minister through art and teach students to do the same, and it’s fantastic. These art classes involve several different mediums including drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, 3D art, and more!

  • Awestruck is an adult dance company which explores natural movement, creativity, and expressivity as a way to experience dance as relationship with God, self, and others. Read more!

This semester (Fall 2025) Awestruck will serve as the Ensemble for the production, Stand Strong! Much of class will be utilized to learn choreography for the show while following the goals of Awestruck as time allow. Seniors and Adults are welcome to join, and auditions will be held during class time for various parts. All dancers will receive stage time during narrations, but amount of appearances and placement will depend on audition results, attendance, and dancer schedules as well as show lineup. Due to the high commitment of this class, dancers are permitted one unexcused absence during the semester (not including sick days or family emergencies). Please notify Veronika before the first day of class if there are any planned trips or school-related absences so that a plan can be made for learning missed material.

    STAND STRONG - Fall Show

    • Theater will NOT be performing in the Stand Strong show

    • Awestruck Dance Company (no audition, teens and adults welcome) will be the storytelling group throughout the show and will not have lines - much like Genesis 1 Company last semester

    • Theater will spend the fall semester preparing for Cinderella

    • Theater in the fall is for older cast members (11+) while our junior cast will be invited to join in the spring semester only (7-10 year olds).

    CINDERELLA - Spring Show

    • Theater will be performing several scenes with many actors, memorized lines, props, and headset mics

    • Lead roles (Cinderella, Prince, and Mouse Narrator) will be auditioned for on August 14 (sign up HERE)

    • The remaining roles will be auditioned from within the Theater class in the Fall--meaning, students who sign up for Theater this fall (a whole year commitment) will be selected for the majority of roles in the show (minus the leads and junior cast member smaller roles)

    • Junior cast members (7-10 year olds) may join the theater class at this point for additional roles with fewer lines (appropriate for younger actors).

  • A technique add-on class which focuses on practicing various turns and leaps.

  • This class is an invitation for you to come into God’s presence and partner with the King of Kings through movement and creative expression.
